Many Adventures

The past few weeks we have had many adventures...

Max and Ashlyn earned a trip to the water slides. They had so much fun although Ashlyn wasn't tall enough to ride any of the big slides.

We went camping. The kids had a blast getting really dirty and sleeping in the tent.

Caleb is growing so fast. I look at these pictures and I can't believe he is so big. Max and Ashlyn have been loving making him smile. They keep asking me if they can teach him how to talk and walk. It will all happen soon enough.

Yesterday we went to Gold Rush Days. Max and Ashlyn panned for gold and sold it for money. We had fun watching a gun fight in the street and cannons being fired.

Ashlyn had her first day of preschool today. She was so excited to go and be like Max. I had a whole hour with only Caleb. Hense the post today!!

Who is Who?

I was looking at baby pictures of Max and I thought they were Caleb. It may be that they are wearing the same clothes but I can't believe how similar they look.

1st Day of Kindergarten

Max had a great first day of school! He walked right in and gave the teacher a hug. When I asked him how his day was he said "great". Then I asked what he did and he said "I learned". He didn't give me too many other details. I'm going to have to volunteer in his classroom!

The Lake

We went to Folsom Lake on Saturday and went swimming. There were not very many people there because the water is so low boats can't go over 5 mph. We had fun!

Hello Again

Wow, so much has happened since my last post. I've been looking at pictures and there is no way to catch up. Max had a fun Star Wars birthday party, we've had lots of family visitors to see Caleb, Caleb was blessed, we went to Arizona to visit my wonderful sister... the list goes on. We are getting ready for school to start on Monday. I can't believe Max will start kindergarten. He went and saw his classroom today and met his teachers. He also started playing soccer. At practice on Thursday he had more fun chasing the dragonflies than the ball but he was exercising and I thought it was great. He is also going to start taking karate from his Grandpa Scott. He is thrilled! Ashlyn is a great big sister. She loves to take care of Caleb. She will be starting Joy School in a few weeks. Caleb is working on his smile!!
